Urashima Keitaro is the main character in Love Hina. He's a "wrong place at the wrong time" kind of guy. He daydreams a lot. Keitaro always seems to do something or be accused of something that's not his fault. And of course, Naru is there to show him what's what with a punch or kick. Even with all the abuse, Keitaro still loves Naru. He is trying to get into Tokyo U, Tokyo University, because of a promise he made to his childhood sweetheart. They promised to meet each other at Tokyo U someday. Keitaro can't even remember her name, but he's still determined to get into Tokyo U; however, his reasons for entrance soon change after meeting Narusegawa Naru. Naru was also trying for Tokyo U, and after a long time together, the two promised to get into Tokyo U together. Keitaro now has 2 reasons to get into Tokyo U.
