Naru is a 17 year old resident of the Hinata Inn trying to get into Tokyo U. She is also the object of Keitaro's affections. At first, Naru opposes Keitaro being the Hinata Inn's manager and thinks he's a huge pervert, but she later accepts him. (Although she still smacks him around and calls him a low life pervert) Naru is often torn between her old love of Seta-san and Keitaro. Naru agrees to try to get into Tokyo U with Keitaro, but her original reason for entrance was diffrent: she was to meet someone there as well, the teacher Seta-san.
