Motoko is a master of Kendo, not being distracted by men. She disapproves of Keitaro (and kicks his butt every chance she gets) for nearly the first half of the series, but she later grows to accept him. Motoko has her very own little fan club made up for a few girls who admire her. She starts off being very strict and serious but soon becomes more mellow thanks to Keitaro.
