Edward Elric is a man with big ambitions and of small stature. So naturally, he's
a little sensitive when it comes to height. After his mother died, Ed, along with his brother Alphonse attempted to bring
their mother back from the dead by using a forbidden human transmutation. The failed experiment cost Ed, litterally, an arm
and a leg, while his little brother lost his entire body. To save his brother's soul, Ed did a quick soul attachment and put
Al's soul into the suit of armor. Now Edward and his brother are on a quest to get the only thing that can return their broken
bodies to the way they once were - the Philosopher's Stone.
Ed is the stubborn, loud, and sometimes ornery of the two brothers. Most of his temper tantrums
are brought on by others commenting on his height.. or lack there of. But Ed is a strong-willed boy on a mission, and he's
very determined to succeed. Edward was made an official state alchemist after he passed the annual state alchemist exam. He
was the youngest one to date. Ed is an alchemist prodigy. And he's also got a "friend" named Winry who just happens to be
a girl.
